The Story
A wise man once encountered a group of people who were constantly complaining about the same issues. Instead of listening to their complaints, he told them a joke, and everyone burst out laughing.
The joke was then repeated by the man. Several people smiled.
Finally, the man told the joke a third time, but no one responded.
"You won't laugh at the same joke more than once," the man said with a smile. So what do you gain by continuing to complain about the same issue?"
The Message
You won't get too far if you only complain and do nothing about it. Don't waste time complaining; instead, take action to effect change.
